Galleries updated

I've finally got round to uploading all the pics from my phone to my fotopic gallery so you can see all the bedford pictures there (The right way up), looking forward to Wirral this weekend as i'm hoping there will be a very special new kite making its first appearance on english shores...

Bedford day 2

Wet start but its cleared up a bit now.

Sorry bout the sideways pictures but even if I rotate them on the phone it seems to publish them the other way up if I take them in portrait mode, if I cant find a way to do it i'll just have to make sure I use landscape shots in future.

Coming soon!

Well now the Blog is set up and I can send photo's to it from the phone I hope to be able to do some real-time blogging from some of the events we attend this summer.

First up is Bedford International Kite Festival followed the week after by Wirral International Kite Festival.

As we are invited fliers at Bedford we may be a bit busy trying to get stuff into the air but i'll try to get some photos uploaded both days especially of the kites brought by the international fliers. If for some reason I cant manage it at Bedford then I will get them at Wirral as I'm Field Director there and will be spending more time going round the field talking to fliers whilst sorting out the programme of events.

Blackpool 1

Test pic from a recent event at Blackpool

Yo!

Hello there, welcome to my Blog, which basically is only here for one purpose to upload photo's from Kite flying events here in the UK so those people who cant attend can see whats happening on the day rather than waiting a week or a month for someone to upload their camera pictures or wait for a paper magazine to arrive.

Ideally in the future i'd like to see a collaborative page that many people can use to upload images from different events, but for now its just me and my cameraphone (SonyEricsson K800i) and we will see what happens.

I used to upload all my pictures to http://kites.fotopic.net/ but have found myself using it less and less, especially this year, I even remember asking them for a way to create galleries from a mobile so I could upload pictures as they were taken to create a blog style event gallery... So now i'm trying it by uploading directly from my phone to this blog.

You wont see a lot of text entries on here, i'm no writer by any means, but I hope I can put up enough photos from kite events to give a flavour to those who would like to be there on the day but couldnt actually make it.
