A day of plenty of wind some sunshine and the occasional shower and we flew a wall of tails.

Another weekend...

So this weekend we are off to Flookburgh near Grange in Cumbria for a large Steam fair where Kite Collective have been booked to put on a display, theres lots of stalls and exhibits so hopefully i'll get time to wander round and take some photos.

The evening...

After a good days flying it requires a gathering of like minded souls to dissect the days events. A bit of rain and a lot of alcohol helps too :)

Its raining!

Well the rain moved in about 18:30 and 4 hours later its dark and its still raining.. So i thought i would send a picture of a couple of my LED powered chinese lanterns for this entry. Oh it also means i have to sit down and drink beer. :)

The sun is up...

The sky is grey, but i dont case because im on holiday for 4 days. Got a 4 foot delta at 200 feet with 100 feet of transition tail on it so people can see where im camped for this weekend long fly in. Right now i've got my feet up with a cup of coffee. :)

Next weekend is a weekend long club fly-in at Bolton-le-sands which is just north of Morecambe here in lancashire, so I may not get round to blogging any photos, depends how much fun i'm having :-)

Richmond Kite Festival

This weekend we are heading up to the north east corner of Yorkshire to attend Richmond Kite Festival, organised by Malcolm Goodman. Held on the old racecourse on a hill above the town.

This one we are attending just for fun (it was a good weekend last year), so theres no pressure to keep flying all day, we can just do what we like and enjoy the weekend.

Theres a new inflatable thats been completed this week that I want to get some shots of though, so I will stick some photos up :-)

Sorry I only posted one picture on the blog today but I dropped my phone and it didnt want to let me view any pictures after that! However now i'm home and i've restarted it and reseated the memory card everything is working ok, so i'm just uploading todays pics to my Fotopic gallery (Link on the right of the page).
